July 2024 Work Party

A well attended work party again this month with 12 club members giving up their Sunday morning to help keep the river in great shape. The club members in attendance split into 2 groups, one heading below Anjou bridge strimming and mowing the banks of the Old River and Mill Canal sections from the fish passes right back up to the bridge. The second group headed upstream to clear the Silver Springs beat which had become a little over-grown in recent weeks, trees and vegetation were cleared from the river with multiple good fishing spots now accessible from Sea Trout corner right to the end of the clubs water just above the M27 motorway bridge.
